We had a great time on our little getaway trip to Gatlinburg with my family this weekend. As usual, I took A LOT of pictures! I really didn't post every single picture I took, but it is hard to narrow it down to my favorites so just a warning ... there's a ton of picture in this post!
Daddy & Cooper playing a little air hockey in the cabin. This cabin we rented was so cool. We had a beautiful view of the Smoky Mountains. Cooper was in heaven on the upper level- it had a game room with arcade games, a pool table, air hockey, and a big theater screen.
We had rain on the first day, so we headed to the Wonderworks Museum.
Cooper & Daddy going into the crazy tunnel...
Mr. Mason being good as gold. He was such a trooper and just checked everything out as we walked around the museum.
Cooper & Uncle Drew watching intently as Daddy & Uncle Jonny rode on the "360 Bike."
Getting strapped in and ready to go!
They pedalled fast enough and finally made it all the way around!
This was so cool! You stand in front of the wall, wait for the countdown and then after the flash of light and it captures your shadow! Daddy held Cooper up for this fun pose.
That's Cooper's face!
Making a giant bubble with Uncle Jonny & Poppy.
The baby looked like he was moving/changing facial expressions as you walked by, and Coop was pretty fascinated by it. We were cracking up watching him because he kept turning his head and pacing back and forth trying to figure out how it moved.
All the guys trying to find the hidden pictures.
Next, we headed to the Ripley's Aquarium.
Lots of fish!!
Hanging out by the pretty waterfall.
Uh-oh, Mimi! There's a shark heading your way!
Uncle Drew's best buddy :)
We took a drive to the top of the highest mountain... It was a LONG way up!
Here we are at the top! Can't believe there was snow! Coop loved getting to throw snowballs at his uncles, but we didn't stay long because it was way too cold!
Driving back down the mountain.
See the difference? Now we're back to the pretty fall scenery!
Getting some lunch in Gatlinburg.
My sweet little pumpkins.
His new bear named "Rocky."
Mason's snuggling with his new bear, "Smoky."
Had to get a picture next to Bumble Bee! He really enjoyed this car museum. Of course he was pretty excited to get a new Transformer toy too!
Happy 29th Birthday (on Oct. 29th), Uncle Drew! It was fun celebrating Drew's "golden" birthday in Gatlinburg.
Mason wants a piece!
They love their Mimi & Poppy!
Cooper and I made these little Halloween cookies and brought them for the weekend.
Here's a picture from our balcony - hard to see the mountains in the background because it was kind of bright that morning.
So tired! Such a great weekend with so many special memories. Thanks again for everything, Mimi & Poppy! xoxo
