Letter of the Day

It's been a LONG time since my last Blog Post .... but I'm back and ready to share some fun ideas with my Mommy friends. We are going to start something new this summer, Letter of the Day-theme activities. I've got great things to share that I've taken from classroom and other blogs. We've already started some of our letter fun this week and Cooper is having a blast! (Mason likes to watch, too!) :-)

(BTW Cooper's really getting into singing "Happy Birthday" after having both his and Daddy's birthdays back to back.... and now every time I light a candle he says, "birthday cake! Its Mommy's birthday!")

Happy 4th of July!!

After so many action packed weekends this summer we decided to have a low-key 4th of July at home with our little family. It was a great summer day - running through the sprinkler, eating popsicles, hamburgers & corn on the cob, sparklers and a few fireworks - Cooper was pretty scared of the fireworks and didn't sleep too well that weekend! :(

Take Me Out to the Ball Game!

For Coop's actual birthday, we had a great home cooked family dinner - lasagna (Cooper's fav) and strawberry pie. Then we headed downtown for the Indian's game. Coop-man lasted about 4 innings then got pretty squirmy! We had so much fun walking on the canal and even took a paddle boat out on the canal.

Cooper Turns Two!

Well, after just returning from Disney World of course we had to have a Mickey themed birthday party with our family. :) Cooper loved his banana-flavored Mickey cake!

We are having a great summer and hope you are too! We really enjoyed our special trip to Disney World with so many magical memories. It was so hard to leave!
