Name Writing

We've been teaching Cooper how to write his name so I decided to try an activity I used to do with my kindergarteners at the beginning of the school year.  I figured Cooper would enjoy it- especially since it involved candy!  We used Twizzlers Pull & Peel licorice to form the letters of his name.

No candy for this little man but he had fun playing with his elephant while he watched Cooper.

Happy Boy!  Mr. Mason continues to grow by leaps and bounds each day.  He loves every food that he has tried and is the complete opposite of his older brother in the eating department.  It's great to have a good eater after having such a picky eater!  He's so laid back and just adores his older brother.  It's so cute to watch them interact and see Mason belly laugh at Cooper's silly faces and sounds.  Mason isn't crawling yet, but scoots and pulls himself to toys that are out of reach.  He officially has two teeth (two in front on the bottom)!  I was hoping after these little teeth popped through maybe he would start sleeping through the night... no such luck!  We're still working on that!  It's very tough to implement the "cry it out" method with your second child.  We worry that he will wake up Cooper when he's fussing, so I usually go in and comfort him.  Oh well!  Such a sweetie, and I am cherishing every day that I get to spend with both my little guys before I head back to work in January.

Decorating Our Pumpkins

Mason is such a little stinker.  As soon as he gets within reach of Cooper's hair, he likes the grab it and pull it!
 Now we're ready!
Helping Daddy put his Mr. Potato Head/Frankenstein Pumpkin pieces in the right spot... serious business!

Here's our pumpkins!  Cookie Monster and Frankenstein :)

Happy Halloween!!

Grant's Birthday Party

Birthday Boy!  Wow!  Hard to believe this big guy just turned 6!  Cooper thinks the world of his cousins, and he really looks up to Grant.  He asked every single day the week prior to the party, "Is today Grant's birthday party?" So we had to start a countdown til the "big day."  He was so excited to help Grant celebrate you would have thought it was his own birthday or even Christmas!

Riding this big wheel with Grandma Loree & Pepper.
Snuggling with Aunt Shay Shay *Sherri*

We got this Nerf gun for Grant.. Can you tell someone else was just a tiny bit excited to "try it out?" .. Protective eyewear and all... Haha :)
Thank you for the Halloween treats, Grandma!

Miss Emma is going to be a great babysitter.  She took extra-special care of Mason all day!
Playing with all of Grant's new toys.

Fall Fun

Ready.. Set...

 Jump!

Cooper really helped me pick up the leaves that day! Such a good helper!

Enjoyed using his markers to color his fall scarecrow.

Now time to make a Halloween necklace!
 Ta-da!

Puffy Punkin :)

My Aunt Pam who is a preschool teacher gave us this cute craft idea.  You take equal parts of glue and Barbasol shaving cream, add a little paint and it turns it into a puffy paint.  We used this recipe to paint a giant pumpkin!

 The finished product!
 Now for a little "hide-and-seek"...
Peek-a-Boo! :)

Random!

Riding around in the laundry basket - a little random, but these two shared so many giggles I had to grab the camera!

Now time for Daddy to give us both a ride in the basket!

~Pumpkin Patch~

We had so much fun at Stoney Creek Pumpkin Patch with the Bastin family.  It was a little chilly that day but the kids had fun - especially loved bouncing on the giant pillow.  Cooper seemed to remember going there last year with his class on a field trip.  Mason was such a trooper and just smiled the entire time!  He even got to sit on the pony with Cooper.

Jumping with Kaylee & Taylor (or as Cooper calls them, "Kay-lor")
