Weekend fun!

This past weekend, Aunt Shay Shay (Sherri), Grandma Loree & PopPop came to visit. PopPop helped Mommy & Daddy with some projects around the house and Aunt Shay Shay & Grandma played with Cooper!

8 months old!

Wow! I can't believe how quickly time has passed... Cooper is already 8 months old! He is getting so big and reaching new milestones daily. He says "Dadda" now and is still "army crawling" around but is sooo close to doing the real thing. He gets up on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth, then takes a couple "strides" and falls down. Cooper is so determined to keep up with the other kiddos I'm babysitting (who are all older), so his army crawl has been perfected to collecting toys inside his arms as he goes - and did I mention how fast he can get around!? Geez! I have to keep my eyes glued on him because he has a fascination for electrical cords and anything dangerous or dirty that he shouldn't be getting into! :) I think it's a boy thing...

He has the happiest disposition and is FULL of energy. It's starting to get warmer outside so we have gone for walks and headed over to the neighborhood playground and played on the swings and slide a few times. Cooper seems to really enjoy being outside. He thinks he's pretty cool riding around in his little umbrella stroller! I will post some pictures of us on the playground next time!

Still working on mastering the sippy cup...

He likes to bang it on the highchair and throw it on the ground.

Took time out from playing to pose for a picture!

We met Mimi at the mall for lunch! Cooper is doing some tricks with his tongue - as usual!

Big boy playing with his cars!

Who knew laundry could be so much fun? Cooper loves helping Mommy fold laundry. She dumps the clothes out on the floor so he can crawl through the big pile!

The Easter bunny is on his way! Cooper is looking forward to his first Easter ... seriously, every time he looks at his Easter basket he starts smiling! :) His great grandma is going to monogram his name on the liner. Thank you, Great Grandma Marsh! She even made the blue quilt he is laying on in this picture. She is sooo special!
